PRESS RELEASE: 18th November 2020 – United Kingdom
eWorld Procurement & Supply Goes Virtual for March 2021
Revolution Events announces new virtual platform for leading procurement technology event
With proven vaccines for Covid-19 finally starting to materialise but much of the world still under emergency measures to contain the virus, the current restrictions on business events look set to continue at least into the first half of 2021. Hence it is clear that alternative channels for sharing user experiences and innovative thinking will be needed for organisations that want to maintain momentum and strategic focus while facing significant challenges within their global supply chains.
eWorld’s sophisticated digital platform will bring together a wide variety of strategic keynotes, end-user case studies, product briefings and live question & answer sessions, while simultaneously facilitating live peer-to-peer discussions and in-depth supplier interactions throughout the day. The online portal and integrated registration system will deliver a seamless user experience on the day and provide ongoing access to key elements for all registered users, enabling them to revisit specific sessions at a later date and/or to catch up on anything they may have missed.
Claire Boffey, Group Event Director at Revolution Events said: “We are hugely excited about this latest development in eWorld’s ongoing evolution, which we believe will add a fantastic extra dimension to the event – both in the short-term and well into the future when the world starts to return to normality. Whilst many event organisers have rushed to put together online versions of their face-to-face events, via Zoom or other basic teleconferencing programs, we are proud to have taken our time to develop a rich, multi-faceted experience for delegates to enjoy when they participate in the first virtual eWorld event next March.”
