From Etsy to Enterprise: Smarter Procurement with AI

Procurement Strategies & Innovation will return on 3 March 2026, bringing together procurement leaders and solution providers to explore how teams can respond to growing pressure around efficiency, agility, AI adoption and value delivery.

As procurement functions continue to face rising expectations without proportional increases in budget or headcount, PSI 2026 is designed to provide practical, experience-led insight into how organisations are adapting. The conference programme focuses on how technology, talent and strategy can be combined to deliver real impact in complex operating environments.

We’re pleased to announce that two new sessions have now been confirmed, both addressing how AI and collaboration are reshaping modern procurement:

1. Leveraging AI to Manage Procurement with a Small Team – Guru Sathya, Director of Procurement, Etsy

Drawing on experience leading global procurement functions at Etsy, Meta and Airbnb, Guru will explore how small teams can manage large, complex spend portfolios by working smarter with AI.

His session will outline a three-layer approach that uses automation for routine activity, management-by-exception for control and governance, and AI-enabled insights to free up time for higher-value relationships and decision-making.

2. Old Problems, New Solutions: How AI & Collaboration Redefine the Future – Chris Reed, Senior Product Manager, FISCAL Technologies

This session looks at how AI, analytics and collaboration are reshaping how finance and procurement tackle long-standing challenges around cost control, risk and agility.

Chris will examine why human judgement and governance remain critical, and how smarter partnership models are helping organisations achieve better, more integrated outcomes.

The session will also highlight why human judgement and governance remain essential as technology becomes more embedded in decision-making, and how new partnership models between finance, procurement and technology teams are delivering more integrated and effective outcomes.

PSI 2026 is designed for procurement professionals who want to move beyond theory and focus on what works in practice.

Alongside the conference programme, delegates will have opportunities to network with peers, engage with solution providers, and explore tools and services aligned to their current and future priorities.
