Thought-Provoking Keynotes
and Expert Insight
PSI 2026 opened with Sam Conniff, award-winning entrepreneur, social scientist and author of Be More Pirate and Uncertainty Experts. His NEW book, The Uncertainty Toolkit (Pan Macmillan, 2026), draws on the world’s largest study into how humans respond to uncertainty.
In a procurement landscape shaped by inflation, supply chain disruption and rapid technological change, Sam’s session explored how embracing uncertainty can unlock innovation, build resilience, and empower teams to lead with confidence amid complexity.
Closing the day, Rob Turner, Chief Procurement Officer at Deliveroo, delivered From Transformation to Integration: Procurement at Global Scale. Two years after launching Deliveroo’s cost and digital transformation journey, Rob shared the results achieved, lessons learned, and insights from integrating procurement within the newly combined DoorDash enterprise. Delegates gained practical takeaways on translating transformation into measurable business value, managing post-acquisition integration at global scale, and driving opportunity beyond savings.
