Kavita Cooper

Kavita Cooper BSc FCIPS Chartered is the CEO of BuyingStation and has spent over 10 years as the CEO of a scaling business. She helps CFOs grow with confidence by strengthening supplier governance, financial control and compliance discipline, without the overhead of building a large procurement function.

Kavita began her career with 14 years in corporate roles across commercial and technical disciplines, working closely with finance leaders in high growth environments. One pattern kept repeating: CFOs are expected to deliver rapid, sustainable growth, yet many lack the visibility and controls to be confident they have the right suppliers, on the right terms, with the right assurance.

In 2015, she founded Novo-K to challenge traditional consultancy models and bring clarity, accountability and control back into procurement. That vision evolved into BuyingStation, a scalable Source to Contract platform supported by services, ensuring supplier decisions remain controlled, defensible and auditable as complexity increases. Her work reframes procurement as a core financial control, enabling commercial momentum while reducing financial and compliance risk.

Kavita is an alumna of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, completed Sustainable Supply Chain studies at Cambridge CISL, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. Selected for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women EMEIA Class of 2024 and a finalist at the National Business Women’s Awards 2025, she combines commercial rigour with visible leadership.
