Guy Battle

Guy is the Founder/CEO of Social Value Portal, Co-Chair of the Public Sector Chapter for The Sustainable Procurement Pledge, and supports the National Social Value Taskforce as part of the executive management team.

Guy is on a mission to deliver the Social Value Economy and is passionate about how the public, private and voluntary sectors can be working together in radical collaboration, to deliver more for our communities.  Guy initially trained as an environmental engineer starting his career at Arup in 1986. He then set up and lead the award-winning sustainability engineering consultancy BattleMcCarthy in 1993 until 2009, when he joined Deloitte as a Partner in the Sustainability and Assurance team.
