Hélène Carpentier
Helene Carpentier is the founder of Circular Workplaces, a platform and advisory service helping organisations design waste out of the workplace. Her work focuses on closing the gap between sustainability ambition and real-world delivery, enabling workplace and real estate teams to reduce waste, cut costs, stay ahead of regulation, and create places people are proud of.
Helene brings over 10 years of experience in the waste and circular economy sector, including 3.5 years as Global Circular Economy Lead at CBRE, where she led circular strategy across global portfolios. She has worked with complex, multi-stakeholder environments across finance, technology, healthcare, life sciences, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, translating circular principles into practical, scalable programmes.
Her expertise spans waste audits, operational strategy, supplier engagement, employee behaviour change, and certification support, including TRUE Zero Waste. Helene holds a Master’s degree in Environment & Sustainable Development from University College London, is a TRUE Zero Waste advisor and Advisory Council member, and has been living and working internationally since 2012. She is well-connected across corporate, startup, and green building communities, and is known for her pragmatic, action-oriented approach to circularity.
