Martin Chilcott
Martin has been a leading climate technology entrepreneur for the last 25 years, building software platforms – from 2degrees Network to Manufacture 2030 (now known as Secaro). All his efforts have been focused on how to engage, incentivise and support suppliers to decarbonise.
His experience supporting the implementation of decarbonisation strategies in some 50 global supply chains is unique and spans automotive (Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda), pharmaceuticals (GSK, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, BMS etc.) grocery retail (Tesco, Asda, Co-op, Sainsbury’s etc.) and FMCG and consumer healthcare (Unilever, Haleon, P&G, Reckitt etc.).
Since leaving Secaro in 2025, he has been focusing his time and energies on how to translate sustainability in the procurement workflow so that category managers can use sustainability as a lever to manage cost and risk and create value for their organisations.
